JMO Jaima 5 min Scalping Strategy

Trading strategy for scalping JMO Jaima 5 min Scalping is a system based on the use of signals from Jma indicators, which are filtered by the momentum indicator.

Despite the fact that the JMO Jaima 5 min Scalping strategy is designed for scalping, it shows good results on all timeframes, provided that all market entry rules are followed.

Strategy parameters

  • Currency pairs: any with a low spread
  • Timeframe: M5 and higher
  • Trading time: any
  • Platform: Metatrader 4
  • Risk management: choose a lot size that the risk is no more than 2-5% of the deposit per trade

Indicators used

  • JMO Jaima (period fast 20, period slow 200, offset -1 JMA fast)
  • Pivots points levels
  • Volume bar
  • William’s% Range (80) with Moving average (34)
  • Scalping indicator

Installing indicators and system template

  • Unpack the archive with templates and indicators
  • Copy the indicators to the MQL4 folder -> indicators
  • Copy the templates to the templates folder
  • Restart the terminal
  • Opening the chart of the required currency pair
  • Install a template named JMO Jaima 5 min Scalping

The graph should look like this:

Signals indicating the opening of a buy position

  • fast JMO Jaima crossed the slow JMO Jaima from the bottom up;
  • the William’s% Range line crossed the MA (34) from the bottom up;
  • bars of both oscillators are green;

Signals indicating the opening of a sell position

  • fast JMO Jaima crossed the slow JMO Jaima from top to bottom;
  • the William’s% Range line crossed the MA (34) from top to bottom;
  • bars of both oscillators are red;

Setting stop loss and take profit

  • stop loss is set above / below the previous local high / low;
  • take profit is set at a ratio of 1.3: 1 to stop loss or at one of the Pivot levels.
